TOPBOT introduces the benefits of greater efficiency, convenience and accessibility in the Topshop stores with a simple, cost-effective hybrid of technologies, but which engage with the consumer on a more personal level, so that the store can deliver even more speedily and commercially than before. Faster delivery methods combined with a range of new attractive and interesting dimension will have the young Topshop consumer coming back for more.
Fashion is even more competitive as the complex processes of the physical store competes with the conveniences of online retailing. Both systems have their pros and cons, but in current times of economic pressure I wanted to explore what the “bricks and mortar” retailers are doing not only to stay afloat but how they will innovate and grow.
I have witnessed first hand how shopping habits have been changing from my own breadth of work experiences at boutiques, garment manufacturers and retailers like Austin Reed.
